Photography isn’t my profession, it’s how I look at the world. I’m not a professional photographer. I take pictures out of passion, to hold on to what feels worth pausing for. Black and white film was my starting point, and it has remained my first love. There is something in the grain, the waiting, the silence of a darkroom that nothing else quite reproduces — an emotion only film knows how to stir. Digital has become my daily companion now, with a Nikon DSLR, a compact Fujifilm, or simply my phone. Less weight, more flexibility — and the freedom to explore colour, macro, the unexpected.
Based near Geneva, I photograph mostly when I travel, wherever I happen to be. This site gathers a selection of those images, shared with no greater claim than that of a personal way of seeing.
